Nigerian Police To Commence 2 Days Shooting Practice In Akpabuyo LGA

The Nigerian Police Force, Cross River State Command will on Wednesday, 24 to Friday 26 January 2024 commence a two-day range shooting practice in Akpabuyo Local Government Area.

In a press release issued on Monday, 22 January by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer – SP Irene Ugbo, for the Commissioner of Police of the State CP Augustine Grimah, said the exercise will begin by 8:AM daily.

CP Grimah urged members of the public, all residents, and farmers of said environment not to engage in any farming activities within the vicinity until the exercise is over to avoid being caught by stray bullets.

The release reads: “This is to inform the general public that the Special Protection Unit (SPU), will commence range practice at POLICE SHOOTING RANGE, ANYANGASE in Akpabuyo Local Government Area on Wednesday 24h to Friday 26h January 2024 Time: 8 am daily.

“By this announcement, members of the public, and all residents/farmers of the said environment are warned not to engage in any farming activities within the vicinity until the exercise is over. This is to avoid being caught by stray bullets, please.”
