The Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem has lauded the Honorable Minister of Sport Development Sen. John Owan Enoh, saying the Assembly, the people of Ikom Local Government Area, and Cross Riverians in general are proud of him.
The Speaker said this at the Thanksgiving service of the Minister held over the weekend in Ikom LGA where he applauded his giant strides so far.
“The Cross River State Assembly members and the good people of Cross River State, especially the Central Senatorial District are proud of him for his political achievements.”
Ayambem said he has never been in doubt of Owan Enoh’s morality or willingness to help the people of Cross River State, adding that he has lived a moral life with the hope history will judge him fairly.
He urged the Minister to use his current role as a Minister of Sports Development of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to develop sports and related facilities in his hometown, Ikom, and Cross River State as charity begins at home.
