The night of tributes for Pa Francis Ingwubel Akpo, the father in-law of one time Governor of Cross River State, Senator Ben Ayade drew joy, laughter and tears as more about his life was laid bare for the public to see.
Held at the St. Stephen’s Primary School in Obudu, thousands gathered to catch a glimpse of touching tributes, documentaries and performances as well as see up close, hundreds of allies, friends, associates and family from across the world who are attending the funeral.
Pa Akpo passed away on Good Friday, His final journey home began on Monday with a mass and has continued all week with the funeral mass and interment slated for tomorrow (Saturday).

A historian and educationist, he was a lover of football and patron of the MFAF Football Club who are the reigning champions of the Cross River State FA Cup.
