The Zone 6 Police Headquarters Calabar, has invited successful candidates from Akwa Ibom and Cross River States, in the just concluded Computer-Based Test (CBT) for General duty in the ongoing 2022 recruitment to report for the medical screening exercise.
In a statement dated 13th April, 2024, with reference number No. CZ :5300/ZPC.6/ZPRO/VOL.4/70, signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Nelson Okpabi, the command rollout some guidelines to be followed by candidates:
According to the Command, “Specialists candidates are equally invited for the medical screening which will take place simultaneously with the practical test from 16th to 30th April, 2024 between Zone 6 Police Clinic Calabar.
“Those who participated in the recruitment screening CBT and Specialists are to check their application statuses on the recruitment portal, www.policerecruitment.gov.ng and print out their medical screening/practical test invitation slip, if qualified.
“Candidates are requested to appear at the screening center in clean white T-shirts and shorts with the following: National Identity Card/Slip, Printout of medical screening and Specialists test invitation slip (as obtained from the portal). Candidates are advised to stick to their allotted dates and time for the exercise as loitering will not be allowed.
“The Assistant Inspector-General of Police Zone 6 Headquarters Calabar, AIG Jonathan Towuru, mni, stressed that the screening exercise is free of charge and will be conducted in a transparent and professional manner. He warned applicants to be wary of scammers and avoid falling prey to swindlers who might take advantage of the exercise to defraud unsuspecting applicants.”
