Cross River First Private University Announces Breakthrough In Trado-Medicine Research

By Godwin Otang

There seems to be a massive breakthrough in traditional medical research: the Arthur Jarvis Institute of Traditional Medical Research announces treatment of cancer, fibroids and other life threatening illnesses.

The Chancellor of Arthur Jarvis University, Sir Arthur Jarvis Archibong disclosed this to Journalists in a media chart in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, where he said his team has been working to demystifying the erroneous beliefs around trado-medicine and prefer empirical feasible subjects to globally recognized trado-medical solutions that will complete with Orthodox To medicine.

Sir Archibong said the Governing Council of the  first private University in Cross River had earlier approved the construction and equipping of a standard Institute of Trado-Medicine Research within the varsity campus.

“The Institute will make use of the wide range of herbs from the surrounding forest resources around the University community and the available Traditional Medical Practitioners within and around our locality to treat some of the life threatening illnesses.”

Some of the diseases targeted by the research institute include hemorrhoids (pile), prostate, diabetes, asthma, kidney stone, cancer, fibroid, epilepsy, bone fracture/dislocation/setting, and many more.

The team disclosed that their action is in line with the Federal Government’s vision through the establishment of the Department of Traditional, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) under the Federal Ministry of Health in a letter referenced OHCSF/MSO/72/IV/132 and dated 4th April 2018.

He expressed excitement and readiness to launch into the Trado-Medicine landscape.

“We are happy to announce to our community and the world at large that our well-equipped Institute of Trado-Medicine Research at our our university campus, in Akpabuyo Local Government Area, Cross River State, Nigeria is open for treatment of individuals diagnosed of any of these life-threatening illnesses as mentioned earlier, while we research.”
