Constituents in Cross River State Southern senatorial district, have prayed their Senator, Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong Jrn, to provide more basic amenities in the constituency.
They made the request during a town hall meeting held in Biase Local Government Area of the State; an exercise that will cut across all the seven LGAs in the senatorial district.
Some of the requests include access roads, drinking water, electricity, border communities security, healthcare, agricultural support and empowerment.
Addressing the constituents Senator Asuquo averred that his aim is to touch the nooks and crannies of his district with projects that will be beneficial to them.
“Most importantly, I came to hear from you about short interventions that we will handle in the next 365 days.”
The Paramount Ruler of Akamkpa, HRM Ophot Agbor Ewa Ebani, Said, “My people are trying to tell you that you need more time to implement all that they need. The 70 solar lights you gave to my community, we spread it amongst communities. We are so proud of you.”
The royal father however, lamented lack of infrastructure and electricity in his palace and environs.
