PHOTOS: Lawmaker Donates 34th Police Division In Cross River

Commissioning 34th Police Division Apiapum

The member representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Honorable Michael Etaba has donated a new divisional Police Headquarters in Apiapum, Obubra Local Government Area of Cross River State.

The Apiapum division Police headquarters is the 34th division of the Nigeria Police Force in Cross River.

Commissioned by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, on Friday May 31, 2024 in the State central, lauded the kind gesture of Hon. Etaba.

The State Commissioner of Police, CP Gyogon Augustine Grimah who represented the IGP and the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 6 Headquarters, Calabar, AIG Jonathan Towuru, emphasized the significant achievement and reassured stakeholders of continued cooperation and collaboration during his tenure as the Commissioner of Police for the Cross River State Command.

According to the State Police spokesman, SP Irene Ugbo, CP Grimah urges other politicians and individuals to support the police force in the fight against crime.

The commissioning was attended by mostly traditional leaders, led by HRH Ovarr Robert Mina, Clan Head of Apiapum and Ohorodo 1 of Okum Kingdom, and the Clan Head of Okumuritet Clan, along with town council members.

Also present were friends and supporters of Honorable Etaba.

Various speeches commended Etaba’s dedication and commitment to serving humanity and fulfilling his promises.

Prayers were offered by spiritual leaders, invoking blessings on the new facility and its operations.
