Information reaching our newsroom has it that there is a rain of gunshots along the borders between Vandikya Local Government Area of Benue State and Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State.
A traveller who is stocked along the route informed CrossRiverWatch.
“Please urgently inform our people to suspend traveling through Benue State, Vandikya LGA as serious gunshots between them and Obudu is ongoing. Treat as important Let’s be watchful and prayerful,” it read.
At the time of filing this report, we cannot authoritatively confirm the cause of the duel and if any causality has been record. Though the two LGAs have oftentimes been at loggerhead with boundary disputes in contention.
