The Ministry of Health Cross River State, has organized a send forth ceremony to honour it two retired permanent Secretaries – Dr. Pauline Obute and Dr. Iwara Iwara, who retired after 35 years of meritorious service.
The state Commissioner for Health Dr. Henry Ayuk described the retired duo as hardworking, and said the opportunity to work with them was a rare privilege.
Dr. Ayuk gave thanks to God for his grace upon the lives of the retirees and the ministry, while wishing them greater future achievements.
The head of service of Cross River, Dr. Innocent Eteng, praised Dr. Egbe Ayuk for ensuring the exercise to celebrate the retiring permanent secretaries held, and acknowledged their contributions in the states health sector.
The head of service gave gratitude to the retired officials for their outstanding performance through our their career years of serving the state. Adding that rising to the status of a permanent secretaries is not an easy achievement.
The retired permanent secretaries expressed gratitude to God for giving them the strength to discharge their duties through the years, and also thanking the ministry for honoring them.
Dr. Etim Ayi, the ministry’s permanent secretary thanked the dignitaries who were present at the event, and also others who contributed to ensure the success of the sent forth.
