Final year student of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), Prosper Ukam, has taken the bull by the horn to propose to his lover, a step in the journey of tying the knots.
He took the bold step which took place in the Calabar main campus of UNICROSS shortly after his final examination, as friends, classmates and lecturers couldn’t help but cheer him up.
Done with his final papers, he stepped out from the hall, beckoned his lover to sign on his shirt but he got on one knee and popped the bombshell question “will you marry me” leaving his lover whose name was not gotten at the time of this report, with streams of emotion.
CrossRiverWatch learned that both lovers have been in a relationship for five years before the proposal.
“I am thrilled to see a student not only excel academically but also find love and happiness,” said Rose Jacob, Prosper’s colleague of Mass Communication. “I wish Ukam and his fiancée a lifetime of love and happiness together.”
