Governor Bassey Otu has appointed eight persons to constitute the State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC).
The appointment was contained in a press release signed and made available by his Chief Press Secretary, Gill Nsa on Thursday, August 15, 2024.
The appointment is headed by Mr. Ekong Edet Bocco as Chairman, Mrs. Rose Banku Atep, Mr. Adoga Joseph Ipuole, Eutendala Eno, Barrister Daniel Edet, Dr. Eyo Otu Eyo, Jerry Adie Akabisong, all as members while Dr. Lawrence Edu, Esq as Secretary.
The appointment is subject to the confirmation from the State House of Assembly, the release added.
