The Public Complaints Commission has appointed Barrister Owa Owa as the federal commissioner The appointment was confirmed after a swearing-in ceremony held in the Senate chambers in Abuja.
As a federal commissioner, Owa Owa will play a role in ensuring accountability and transparency in the Nigerian government and private institutions.
The Public Complaints Commission acts as an ombudsman, receiving complaints from citizens against government agencies, public officials, and private organizations.
He will be charged with the responsibility of investigating complaints against government agencies, public officials, and private organizations; promoting accountability and transparency in government and private institutions; ensuring administrative justice for citizens; recommending solutions to address complaints, and improving governance.
