By CrossRiverWatch Admin

The entire Team of the foremost investigative media outfit in Cross River State, CrossRiverWatch, has mourned with the family of her former Managing Editor, Comrade Jeremiah Archibong whose father-in-law, Elder Emmanuel Ofem is called yonder.

A condolence letter signed by the Editor-In-Chief of CrossRiverWatch, Citizen Agba Jalingo says the whole Management team is saddened upon reception of the news of Mr. Ofem’s passing.

Elder Emmanuel Ofem, a retired Assistant Superintendent of Police passed on, on Sunday, the 9th day of June 2024.

“I dare say there is no one in the operational and management team of CrossRiverWatch currently that did not have an encounter with Supol Ofem, whom you introduced many staff to with his alias, ‘Marshall’.”

“At this point given the relationship between you and the team as well as the team with your dear wife, Christie, I am indeed at a loss, who to console given that we are all one big family.”

Citizen Jalingo assured that Supol Ofem is in a better place with his creator. “Jerry, it is sad to say that Supol Ofem is in a better place. It would be better for him to remain here with us; but, who are we, mere mortals to question the decision of the Creator and the designer of the cosmic?

“I have no doubt that His values will surely live on, through your immediate and extended family as his uprightness, discipline, and contributions to humanity are already yielding results.

“I pray that you and yours are granted the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss as one can never understand the pain of losing a loved one.

“Oh, Heaven did gain an angel. Once again, accept my condolence on behalf of the entire Team you led. Bless You.”
