One of the world’s largest cement manufacturers and specialists in cement, construction aggregates, and concrete, Lafarge PLC, is calling for interested females to apply to be trained as truck drivers in Calabar.
At least, no less than 20 slots are up for grabs for women/ young ladies who are self-sufficient, agile, passionate, and willing to be trained and employed as female truck drivers.
The training is free of charge according to the President of the Female Commercial Minibus Drivers Association of Cross River State, Asibe Ifeoma Philomena, who disclosed this in a video encouraging women to jump on the opportunity.
Interested women are enjoined to visit the Lafarge office along Diamond Hills, Calabar to enroll in the training that might last for 8 weeks or more.
