The University of Calabar Vice Chancellor, Professor Florence Banku Obi, has resumed duty after a long vacation abroad.
The resumption quells speculations of her sack as insinuated in different quarters.
Upon resumption, the 11 substantive vice chancellor presided over the school Senate sitting before embarking on an inspection tour of ongoing projects, which included the Pharmacy Administrative Complex, Education Administrative Building, and Fire Station’s Administrative Block.
Prof. Obi stressed the importance of timely completion, emphasizing her administration’s zero-tolerance policy for poor services.
She instructed contractors to speed up work without delays, ensuring that all projects meet specifications.
