While others were celebrating love on Valentine Day, fire destroyed a farmer’s farm same day.
This was the story of a cocoa farmer, Ndik Wisdom Edorkor in Edor, Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River State, as unknown fire gutted his farm.
Wisdom told CrossRiverWatch, that the incident happened between the hours of 3-4 PM, at Ekpatala community, Nta Nselle ward, along College Road, Edor, Ikom LGA.
As of press time, the cause of the fire remains unknown as there was no electricity.
The victim prays well-meaning individuals to come to his rescue as his means of livelihood has been chartered.
