Cross River Acting Governor Felicitate With Muslims On Eld Al-Fitr Celebration

The Acting Governor of Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey has felicitated with the muslims community as they mark the 2025 Eld Al-Fitr.

He gave the felicitation in a statement signed and issued by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Bassey Otu, Gill Nsa on Monday, March 31, 2025.

“Peace be unto you! I wish to extend warm regards from myself and the people and Government of our State, particularly from my boss, the Governor, His Excellency Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, who is currently on a short annual vacation, to our Muslim brothers and sisters who are celebrating this year’s Eid al-Fitr after the holy month of Ramadan.”

He prayed that; “May this blessed month of Ramadan bring you peace, joy, and spiritual growth. May your devotion to divine principles, piety, and love for one another be strengthened during this period. I wish that during this time of fasting, prayer, and charity, Allah’s blessings and mercy will rest upon you. May your prayers be accepted and your fasts be rewarded. Subhanallah!”

The Acting Governor enjoins: “As we look forward to the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, let us remember the values of unity, compassion, and kindness that this occasion embodies. May we continue to promote peace, understanding, and harmony among all people in Cross River State, regardless of religion, tribe, and tongue,” he said adding that “I wish you all a blessed Ramadan and a joyous Eid al-Fitr celebration!”
