The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has extended an invitation of her 37th Convocation ceremony to the Paramount Ruler of Calabar Municipality, His Eminence Ntoe Nteta Etta.
The Vice Chancellor of UNICAL Prof. Florence Obi, along with the university officials, visited the Paramount Ruler and his esteemed cabinet members in Calabar.
The purpose of the visit was to warmly invite them to the upcoming 37th Convocation Ceremony and the celebration of UNICAL’s 50th anniversary.
Prof. Florence Obi expressed the university’s appreciation for its long standing relationship with the community, emphasizing that the convocation represents not only academic achievement but also a milestone in UNICAL’s history.
His Eminence Nteta Etta while receiving the delegation, acknowledged the vital role UNICAL plays in the realm of education.
The 37th Convocation Ceremony is scheduled for Monday March 17, 2025 and is expected to be a memorable occasion that will bring the institution’s Alumini, graduates, families, dignitaries, and the general public.
