The SUG President of the University of Calabar, Blessing Alims, has honored academic excellence by awarding one (1,000,000) million Naira to Moses Udofia, the Best Graduating Student of the university.
Udofia, a student of the Department of Accounting, achieved an outstanding Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.92/5.00, making him the top performer in his department and school
Alims, in her statement, reaffirmed her commitment to promoting academic excellence and supporting hardworking students.
She encouraged other students to stay dedicated to their studies, emphasizing that hard work and consistency yield great rewards.
The gesture has been widely applauded by students and faculty members, who see it as motivation for others to strive for excellence.
