20 Allegedly Kidnapped Along Calabar-Akwa Ibom Waterways, Abductors Demand N100m Ransom

About 20 passengers have been reportedly kidnapped along the Calabar-Akwa Ibom water way.

The travellers who boarded the “Heavenly Grace” boat were said to have been intercepted and abducted by kidnappers while on their way from Calabar to Akwa Ibom State.

According to a source who pleaded anonymous, told CrossRiverWatch that one of the victims – Mr. Odey Idika’s family have been reached by the kidnappers demanding one hundred (100) thousand Naira ransom.

The source disclosed that the commander of Anti-Cultism when reached, advised the victim’s family to lodge a formal complaint to the police before investigation will commence.
