An unidentified female lifeless body was found in the early hours of Saturday April 19th, 2025 along Musaha Umoh Okon Street, Ekpo Abasi area of Calabar South Local Government of Cross River State.
Residents alerted authorities after noticing the body, which was initially found faced down. Upon arrival, men of the Nigeria Police Force turned the body face up to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
The cause of her death which raised tension in the area is yet-to-be ascertained.
At the time of filing this report, the corpse was still laying there unevacuated.
