Following the tragic fatal accident that claimed 7 lives and 6 critically injured, the Capuchin Friars of Nigeria Custody, mourns and releases the names of seven demised members involved in Obudu Ranch road fatal accident on Saturday 3rd May 2025.
According to a press statement by the Order Of Friars Minors Capuchin (OFMC), Enugu State, signed by the Custo John-Kennedy Anyanwu, the names of the seven demised seminarians are Somadina Ibe-ojuludu, Chinedu Nwachukwu, Marcel Ezenwafor, Gerald Nwogueze, Kingsley Nwosu, Wilfred Aleke and Chukudi Obueze.
The statement explained that out of the thirteen members involved in the accident, six sustained various degrees of injuries and have been transferred to Enugu State for proper treatment.

“We entrust their souls to the merciful love of God and invite all to join us in praying for the happy repose of their souls. Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course,” part of the statement read.
Recall that what is attributed to brake failure may have contributed to the devastating incident which occurred at Ikwette Community by Obudu Ranch Bottom Hill in Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State.
