The Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Bassey Otu has approved a Technical Committee for the revival of the Northern Cross River, Agriculture and Cultural Festival, (NORTHFEST).
In a press release signed by Chief Press Secretary to Governor, Mr. Gill NSA, the fifteen-man Technical Committee has Ntufam Fidelis Ugbo as Chairman, Ntufam Dr Peter Ojie-secretary, Rt. Hon. Ogana Lukpata Assistant secretary.
Other members include: Chief Tony Udiandeye, Chief Goddy lyala, Rt. Hon. Paddy Uguge, Mrs. Kate Ajibike Agba, Mr. Francis Odachi Ekpo, Dr. Mrs. Stella Oreme Odey Ekpo, Mr. Noel Ugbong.
They are followed by Mr. Jude Agaji, Mrs. Agatha Murphy, Mrs. Bridget Aline, Ms. Imaji T Odey and Hon. Egbung Odama.
The Committee is to fashion ways to revive and ensure organization and sustainability of the festival with a view to meeting its set objectives.
