Cross River Government Announces Job Opening

The Cross River State Civil Service Commission has announced a fresh round of job opportunities for qualified legal professionals, following the approval of Governor Bassey Otu.

The Commission is inviting applications from suitable qualified candidates, who are between the age of 18 to 45 to fill the following vacant positions: Deputy Directors 15 years post call, Assistant Directors 13 years post call, Senior State Counsel I,11 years post call, Senior State Counsel II, 9 years post call, State Counsel I, 5 years post call and State Counsel II 3 years post call.

In an announcement made available by Sir Maurice Effiwatt, Chairman of the Commission, applicants are advised to refer to the detailed requirements on the Commission’s website for qualifications relevant to each position.

According to the Commission, the application process must be completed online through its official website, www.crsc.gov.ng. All submissions should be made in PDF format. Typed and signed application with passport photo affixed, highest academy certificate, local government area of origin certificate, birth certificate/age declaration, NYSC discharge/exemption certificate, where applicable.

All certificate most be from government recognized institutions and uploaded from original. Addition to the online, applicants are to print a hard copy of the submitted application form. The deadline for submission is set for July 25. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for subsequent stages of the recruitment process, it stated.

According to the Commission, application portal opened Wednesday, 2nd July 2025 and closes Monday, 14th July 2025. The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed Monday, 21st July 2025 and Friday, 25th July 2025 at the Commissioner’s Conference Room, Calabar.
