Donna Yesida Wayas, the first daughter of the fourth Senate President of Nigeria who served during the second Republic, Joseph Wayas has died.
Aged 62, Lady Wayas passed away in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory after a brief illness, journalist and rights activist, Agba Jalingo wrote on Facebook.
Sources informed CrossRiverWatch that she passed away on July 14th.
She died almost eight months after her dad was buried exactly three years after he passed away in London, in 2021 aged 80.

Born in March 1963, She is listed as having served as a Director (Legal Advisor) of Universal Service Express Limited, a courier firm in the United Kingdom between 2000 and 2005.
Universal Service Express Limited was incorporated on January 5th 2000 and dissolved on August 31st, 2010.
She served from the date of incorporation and voluntarily resigned on April 12th, 2005.
