The Cross River State Police Command has appealed to the public for assistance in identifying and reuniting a six-year-old girl found wandering in Calabar South with her parents or relatives.
According to the police, the child was found loitering around Henshaw Town Secondary School, Calabar South, on Saturday, 25 January 2026. Despite initial efforts by officers to trace her family, the identity and whereabouts of her parents or guardians remain unknown.
The Police Command urged anyone with useful information that could help identify the child or locate her family to immediately contact the nearest police station.

The appeal was contained in a statement issued by ASP Sunday Eitokpah, Police Public Relations Officer, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Cross River State Command, as the police continue efforts to ensure the child’s safety and prompt reunion with her family.
