Emotions and tears were hard to control at the ongoing funeral of Late Supol Simeon and wife Sylvia Adamade, as they begin eternal journey into yonder.
The deceased are laid to rest simultaneously at their country home in Ukutia, Utugwang in Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State, on Saturday June 13th, 2026.
The funeral kicked off on Friday June 12th, with a solidarity Mass at the Adamade family House at Bikpam, Obudu. The funeral continued with a vigil at the family compound, Ukutia, Utugwang, Obudu.
It proceeded by a requiem Mass at St. Charles Borromeu Catholic Church, Hospital Road, Obudu, and interment shortly.
As a retired police officer, 21 gun salute was fired by the Nigeria Police in his honour.
Human Rights defender and Founder of CrossRiverWatch , Citizen Agba Jalingo alongside other well-wishers jointly prayed for the repose of the deceased souls.
Both couple passed on at the age of 84 and 63 respectively.
