The Cross River State Government has announced that movement of people and vehicles will be restricted across the state from 7: AM to 10:AM on Saturday, July 25, 2026, for the monthly environmental sanitation exercise.
In a public service announcement signed and issued by the Commissioner of Environment, Hon. Moses Osogi, residents and business owners are urged to clean their surroundings, clear blocked drainages and gutters, and properly dispose wastes during the exercise.
The government said only persons on essential duties would be exempted from the movement restriction.
It warned that defaulters would be prosecuted, urging residents to cooperate with relevant authorities to ensure a successful sanitation exercise.
The Commissioner said the monthly exercise is aimed at promoting a cleaner and healthier environment across Cross River State.
