Cross River State College Of Education Gets New Beauty King And Queen

Mr. Obat Enanagha John and Miss. Emmanuel Esidence have emerged as Mr. and Miss. Cross River State College of Education, Awi/Akamkpa 2014 academic session.

It will be recalled that since the re-opening of Cross River State College of Education, Awi/Akamkpa in 2009, two students’ weeks have been hosted but both ended in a fiasco, without crowning anyone Mr. and Miss. College of Education Akamkpa. This third attempt by the college SUG has however successfully broken that jinx in its recent students week.

During her 3rd Student’s Week celebration which started on18th-24th August 2014. Two female students contested for Miss. COE Akamkpa; Miss. Obat Enanagha John, a 200 level student in English/Social Studies, School of Languages from Obubra Local Government Area of Cross River State who happens to be Miss Carnival 2013/2014 COE Akamkpa and Miss. Odey Rose Okpotu a student of School of Sciences combining Mathematics/Economic from Yala Local Government Area of the state.

For Mr. COE Akamkpa, there were six contestants; Mr. Odu Lambard Bankang, 100 level student Economics/Social Studies, Otu Abraham, 200 level student of Mathematics/Economics who is Mr. Akwa Ibom COE Akamkpa 2013/2014, Emmanuel Esidence a 200 level student of School of Sciences combining Biology/Chemistry from Obudu Local Government Area , Moses Eliza Okon a 200 level student of School of Sciences combining Mathematics/Economics, and Tabi Cephas a 200 level student of School of Languages studying English Double Major from Ikom Local Government Area.

The judges included; Miss. Naanee Barivule Vivian, Mr. Edwin Owoh, Mr. Nelly Patrick, Mr. Akamkpa Divine Dominic.
