Members of Kegite Club International, Kross Wata Hemisphere, Felosis Tent-Anansa (Cross River State, Calabar South Unit) have inducted a new Coordinator (AB Cordi).

Felo Eyibio Jacob, AB Cordi Kross Wata Hemisphere, Felosis Tent- Anansa inducted by the State Council of Chefesis (Chiefs) to pilot the affair of the club for the next one keg year (one calendar year) was charged to redeem the image of the club as they said “standards have dropped”.

Furthermore, all members of Kegite Club were urged to support his administration as “it is on a mission to reinstate the club where it belongs, to clear its name from the negativity attached with it.”

As part of the induction ceremony, the club visited a Catholic orphanage home at Bateba where it presented an undisclosed amount of money to the management for upkeep of the home.

Speaking at the orphanage, PETI (Patron), Mark Enyi who led the delegation encouraged the management and inmates of the home to be positive minded as succor comes only from God, thus they should trust in Him.

He reiterated that “Kegite club is not a secret organization, our activities are always open, we are a socio-cultural club that promotes the African tradition.”

PETI Mark Enyi ended by urging the children to aspire high, clear the doubt of those who abandoned them that “God is the one to judge, study hard, grow and change the society. ”

Responding after receiving the package, the Coordinator of the home, Sister Janet expressed gratitude to the club noting that “it’s a thing of joy to have such organization visit us.”

She urged other organizations and good spirited individuals to tow the philanthropic path and lamented the high rate of child abandonment in Cross River.

The ceremony held amidst the Esta Jara (Easther Gyration) of the club in the State.
