The Second edition of ‘The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo’ Town Hall Meeting has been slated for May 13, 2017, a statement from organizers of the program says.

The special guest for the second edition is the Chairman, Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba the statement signed by the producer, Charles Kalu and the host, Agba Jalingo said.

This edition will discuss the creative sector in Cross River State with the theme: “Harnessing The Potentials Of The Creative Economy To Create Jobs For The Youth,” with three panelists and three speakers slated to discuss more on the topic.

The statement read: “Following the success recorded at the first town hall meeting of ‘The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo’, the team is pleased to announce that second edition will hold on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

“In keeping with tradition; the second edition of the town hall meeting will feature discussions pertaining critical sectors in the Cross River socio-economy with the creative sector being the focus.

“The Chairman, Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Victor Ndoma-Egba (SAN) is our special guest as we discuss the theme; “Harnessing The Potentials Of The Creative Economy To Create Jobs For The Youth.”

“A Professor of African Visual Culture and Visual Anthropology, Babson Ajibade, a Doctor in Musicology, Caroline Etim and a Professor of Scenography, Andrew Esekong are our guest speakers at the event.

“The Chief Executive Officer of Luvita creations, Lovelyn Ita, Chairman of the Calabar creative cluster, Emmanuel Etim and the Chief Executive Officer of Callywood, Egor Efiok will be the panelists.

“In line with the theme of this edition, the speakers and panelists will expostulate on the potentials for, and challenges to growth, in the film, music, fashion, visual arts industries as well as theatre, creative writing and many more in Cross River State.

“The event will hold at the Diamond Hall, Transcorp Hotels in Calabar and will begin at 11:00 AM creative time.”
