The PDP Cross River State guber candidate and incumbent, Sen. Ben Ayade has emerged winner of the 2019 Governorship election in the State.

Declaring him winner, the State INEC Returning Officer, Prof. Ibhadode Akii (VC FUPRE) read the result as follows;

• Registered voters: 1, 486, 026
• Accredited voters: 542, 115
• APC: 131, 161
• PDP: 381, 484
• SDP: 4, 818
• Valid votes: 522, 309
• Rejected votes: 11, 499
• Votes cast: 533, 808
