A RAV 4 suv car had its front badly dented earlier in the week on Marian Road, Calabar when its owner, a lady, apparently a learner drove it against an ornamental tree adjacent the Egbri/Ndoma Egba and Associates legal office on Okoi Arikpo Estate.

The lady who seem to be a civil servant left her office at the Old Secretariat at 5 pm with her daughter and another young man who served as her driving instructor, whose name was given as Randy and drove through the Barracks road and at the junction between Marian and Barracks Road, she was stampeded by other vehicles after the traffic light went green and she lost control of the vehicle.

Out of fear, she drove the car out of the road causing the car to skid off the road and ram unto the ornamental tree inflicting severe damage on the car.

Apparently angry by the damage on the vehicle, she engaged the instructor in a blame game claiming that if the instructor had allowed her to control the car the way she wanted she would not have crashed the car.

The woman who refused to give her name or where she works sustained a slight injury on her lip while her daughter and the young man came out without a scratch. With the aid of FRSC men who rushed to the scene, the car was towed away from the spot.
