Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu, has appointed Mrs. Fidelia Okpo Ene as the new Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
In a press release signed and issued on Monday, September 22, 2025, by the Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser to the Governor, Mr. Linus Obogo, urges the new SUBEB Chairman to apply her expertise in raising the standard of basic education in the state.
Mrs. Fidelia okpo Ene, described as a seasoned administrator and strong advocate of quality education, is expected to bring her wealth of experience, vision, and dedication to strengthening the foundation of learning for children across the state.
