The Acting Governor of Cross River State Mr. Efiok Cobham today flagged off the Calabar Carnival.
The flag-off ceremony was witnessed by other dignitaries including Senate Leader, Senator Ndoma Egba, Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Edem Duke amongst others.
The government is expected to make an official statement at the announcement of the winner of the colorful ceremony amongst the competing bands.
