Member representing Biase-Akamkpa federal constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Daniel Asuquo a.k.a Dansuki, has said the long time accord reached between Biase and Akamkpa Local government Areas of Cross River State will earn him a second term in 2015.
Speaking with newsmen during an interview, the former chairman of Akamkpa local government said the accord of two terms of eight years which his predecessor from Biase enjoyed will continue for a while in the constituency giving its peculiar nature.
The federal lawmaker said his scorecard within the two years of being a member of the 7th National Assembly will be determined by the electorate.
He said “as a grass root politician, I know how my people are fairing and how we can address some of their challenges.
“I’ve been in politics long enough to know that information gap is a factor, so I opened an electronic constituency office to enable me get online and real time information about my constituents and what they need so as to know how and where to address them.
“And to God be the glory, it’s paying off and everybody is happy due to the access we have created, response that we have given and changes that we have brought to our people.
“So I’m seeking re-election in 2015 if you must know now and my people are happy with what we have done, what we are doing and what we promise to do.” said Asuquo.
