The Calabar South LGA Supervisor for Education, Mrs. Tonia Ndem has urged Calabar South students to exist in unity and avoid rancor that may divide the Union.
She made the call after the LGA students union conducted their election for new executives at the council hall.
The supervisor commended the electoral body for what she called a hitch free election regardless of threats to disrupt the election by a section of the students.
The election which held today was basically for the office of President as other offices already had candidates that were unopposed.
The new exco of the National Association of Calabar South Students World Wide are Comrade Emmanuel Ita – President, Comrade Margaret Ekeng – Vice President, Comrade Bassey Savior – Secretary, Comrade Gloria Offiong – Assistant Secretary, Comrade Victoria Edem – Financial Secretary, Comrade Ruth Ekeng -Treasurer, Comrade Ekpenyong Ekpo – Director of Socials, Comrade David Eyamba – Public Relations Officer, and Comrade Samuel Ene – Director of Welfare.
