Cross River 2015 governorship aspirant, Senator Benedict Ayade, (PDP, Cross River North) has been described as an orator and a generous party man by members of the PDP caucuses across the LGAs who spoke with CrossRiverWatch after the ongoing interactive session between the PDP caucus members and governorship aspirants.

Senator Ayade who has been the highest donor in all the meetings that the caucuses have had with the aspirants has struck a chord with the caucus members who say he has the attribute of a true PDP man.

Ayade has also captured the attention of the caucus members with his eloquent presentation of his blue print which revolves around agricultural revolution and the engineering of Cross River’s crude potentials with new technology.

A senior member of the Biase PDP caucus who did not want to be named after their recent interactive session at Bays Café in Calabar told CrossRiverWatch that: “The candidate that has clearly stood out in oratorical prowess and generosity in the ongoing consultation with the caucuses by the governorship aspirants is Senator Benedict Ayade. He has a very powerful voice and oratory. He can talk very well. You can then begin to break the talk down and talk about the content. Whether it has value or not. But honestly he has oratory.

“He is also a very generous giver. He has been the highest and most generous giver in all the consultations and that shows that he is a correct party man, PDP man I mean, who knows what is good for the party. I have been in touch with other party men in all the other LGAs who have been receiving the aspirants and the report is the same about him.”

At the Akpabuyo caucus meeting, when Senator Ayade arrived the venue with a blistering convey of over twenty SUVs, he drew the attention of the crowd and many of those who were already expecting his arrival hailed him with chants of “MMM” a euphemism/acronym for Money Making Machine.

One of the supporters at the Azare Hotel venue of the Akpabuyo caucus meeting told CrossRiverWatch that: “It is this kind of man that has made money in his private life, who has shown that he knows how to make money, MMM, Money Making Machine like this that the state needs. He needs to come and make money from our potentials and change our lives.

“In all the places he went to, it is only in Ogoja that he left N1.4m. He is giving 2million in other places like he just did at the Biase caucus meeting when others are dropping N200,000, N300,000, N500,000. He knows how to take risk. That is the spirit.”

While accessing his presentation, a member of the Biase Caucus who just left government and also did not want to be named since the caucus members were not allowed to openly express their personal preferences said: “No doubt Senator Ayade is very intelligent and eloquent. He also knows how to stir the crowd like he has just done here today. I am impressed with his presentation. While I am not very optimistic about his promise to prospect for oil in Central Cross River due to the falling US appeal for Nigerian oil and declining revenue, I am very delighted about his plans for Agriculture and Housing.”

poor people the whole emphasis is on the money he offers, since our politician knows we are poor they will always gather money and bring in time of election like this, but watch whether you can assess them after election. were has Ayade being since he was elected a senator. God help us in this state

Even before being elected as a senator, Ayade has been helping people with his personal hard earned money, find out. He should not be grouped with other politicians who brings out money only during elections.

That’s d problem with C/River Politicians & their followers. Hunger & poverty has blinded them all….for the followers; poverty of the mind is their greatest undoing. Abandoned Federal & State projects all over Central & Northern Cross River State and they come out to listen to stories and expect something in their pockets which will lead them no where….STOMACH INFRASTRUCTURE. That State needs attitudinal change reorientation politically….
