ADVERTORIAL- Re: Suspension Of The Titans From Cross River State PDP

ADVERTORIAL

g18 coalition3

We received with little surprise the press release issued by the ruling PDP in Cross River State on the purported suspension of Gody Jedy Agba, Ntufam Sandy Onor, Barr. Venatius Ikem, James Tangba, Tony Ngban, Ubi Itam, Kenut Ndoma-Egba, Ernest Irek, Livinus Odiga, Samuel Willie and Godwin Igiri and the laughable recommendation of the suspension of Sen. Ndoma Egba and Hon. Sunny Etta or allegedly manipulating the November 1, 2014 Ward Congresses of the party in the state.

It should be recalled that Ntufam John Okon, Gov. Liyel Imoke, party leaders and gubernatorial aspirants described the state ward congress as successful and peaceful.

It beats our imagination therefore that he suddenly awakes to claims of irregularities and attempts by these same persons to subvert the result of the same congress when it is on record that, these parties have also accepted the result of the congress as free and fair and advocated that the results be upheld.

The G18 Coalition together with other like minded progressives would resist any attempt by the party to allow itself to be ruled mundanely by a group of feeble minded, defiant leaders who are on the brink and are thus acting like drowning men.

Despite the fact that previous attempts to undermine the candidacy of Jedy Agba have failed, we express our total and unreserved disappointment in the mediocrity of this “vanquished cabal.”

It is common knowledge that Ntufam John Okon could not by popular vote win the delegate position in his own ward. Does this not reveal where he is coming from?

This action by the current leadership has begun to reveal their lack luster style and an obvious ineptitude and ability to take control.

Troubled by the unrelenting popularity and soaring population of followership of Jedy Agba despite the clamp down, the intimidated few have resulted to very unpopular means to expose their inadequacies.

They had wished Jedy Agba dead. We know they sponsored the rumors across the state on Jedy Agba’s wellbeing. Jedy’s return was too much for them to handle. Little wonder such a release from them a few hours after Jedy Agba’s overwhelming declaration. No thanks! Jedy Agba doesn’t need this cheap popularity!

Cross Riverians should X-ray the Ntufam John Okon lead Exco of the PDP once again. Just recently he and his stooges claimed that Jedy Agba was not a member of the party. Suddenly the same group has resulted to suspension of the same person they claimed not to belong to the same party.

Ntufam John Okon should remove the fetters holding him down and clear his mind of these delusions and undemocratic clauses and begin to think straight so that he stops giving the impression that the state PDP is led by an incompetent, uncoordinated and over assuming puppet and that Cross River state lacks intelligent, vibrant, articulate and proactive leaders.

The inability of the “anointer(s)” to find an “anointed” candidate that would match Jedy Agba’s popularity, maturity and credibility is a clear testimony to the fact that the state has been operating a system that abhors excellence and credibility but promotes mediocrity in all its forms.

This we say because there is no explanation for the state PDP to be led by a wasted braggart like Ntufam John Okon when the state is so blessed with the finest of brains. The Youth Vanguard of the state is not only angry but ridiculed by these developments.

We wish to state categorically that we are fed-up with these tantrums and desperate antics of Ntufam John Okon and his cohorts and therefore declare emphatically that we are ready and willing to resist these attempts to subvert the laws of the party and the state.

Our interest remains to bring a desirable change to the State. A change we see in the person and manifesto of Jedy Agba. We would not be cajoled by the gimmicks and antics of this game of foolery. It insults our sensibilities and it is indeed a joke we cannot relate with.

It is therefore our recommendation that PDP national suspends Ntufam John Okon and his ill-equipped croniesfor gross inefficiency in managing the affairs of the party. This is long overdue!

Jedy Agba! Every where you go………..

Jedy Agba! No retreat, No surrender…………………………

I still wonder where they got Mr. John Okon to become the State Party Chairman. I need to know his credibility, profile & achievements before now to be entrusted with such position looking at the caliber of human resources we have in CRS. Inefficiency is an understatement from the trend of events & utterances of this man so far & it’s as a result of inability to think for himself (remote controlled by Gov. Liyel Imoke).

I have been telling my friends, 90% of politicians in CRS have not tested opposition & superior thinking powers bcoz it’s a one man show since 2003 and people tend to be so relaxed that they fail to think outside the box/work on their political/leadership efficiency. They wait for ORDER FROM THE LEADER & ELECTION(S) IS JUST SELECTION. Now for the weak brains opportunistic leaders in various positions in CRS, they’ve been taken off-guard because many people are not ready to see one man as a ‘political god’ any longer. If Nigeria political system was matured & organized; I bet you with what Jedy-Agba parades (credibility, intimidating past records/achievements, acceptance, marketability, grassroots mobilization, financial power, assembly of experienced human capital (team),solid media team, intelligent strategists, etc), no candidate can match him in the true sense of it.
