PZ Wilmar: Biase Plantations Limited has awarded educational scholarship to 39 students of the host communities studying in various tertiary institutions across the country.
According to a release by the company, the students who were selected scholarship had to undergo rigorous screening conducted by a panel of officials from the Cross River State Ministry of Education, Local Education Boards, and management of the company.
The release also revealed that 55 students applied for the scholarship and 33 were successful.
The benefitting communities cut across Biase and Akamkpa Local Government Areas of the State.
