The member representing Bekwarra/Obudu/Obanlikwu federal constituency Legor Idagbo has urged Cross Riverians to rally round Governor Benedict Ayade as he will deliver true dividends of democracy.

Idagbo made this remark in his native Ijibor village, Bekwarra local government area of northern Cross River State while addressing his constituents, friends, colleagues and political associates whom he hosted for a thanksgiving ceremony for what he termed “the handwork of God in my life and that of my family”.

The former two terms Chairman of Bekwarra LGA commended the signature projects of the governor Benedict Ayade’s administration stressing that Ayade’s “wisdom in initiating the signature projects will make Cross River the fastest growing economy in the country and the West African Sub-region.”

The former Works Commissioner also expressed optimism that governor Ayade was going to be the best performing governor in the country and solicited support for him as the first governor in the history of Cross River to be in opposition of the central government stressing that Senator Ayade may not enjoy getting support from the center as easily as his predecessors did.

He also urged his constituents not to be solely concerned about material gains and gifts from him, promising their collective voice, through him will be heard on the floor of the green chambers.

The event was well attended by family, friends, well wishers, supporters and political associates.
