2015 Young Business Icons Summit and Awards seeks to reward hard work, excellence and creativity among young people doing businesses in the Cross River State and inspire others who are working hard to grow their businesses, create jobs and contribute to the development of the state economy.
2015 Young Business Icons Summit and Awards is a space created to tackle the challenge of unemployment among youth in Cross River State, to provide the necessary resources to unveil and liberate the burning potential lying inside young people and to help them contribute meaningfully to the development of the state.
2015 Young Business Icons Summit and Awards is an initiative of CrossRiverWatch Resources in partnership with Nigerian Youth Chamber of Commerce (NYCC), Cross River State.
The idea is to create a forum to inspire and mobilize a crop of Cross River youths to lead a state-wide revolution in job creation and entrepreneurship development as opposed to job seeking.
The event package will include plenary featuring presentations by a crack team of seasoned resource persons, subject experts and leading business men and women, panel discussions and the awards to deserving young business Icons in Cross River State.
The event which will hold at the main bowl of the Cultural Center Complex on Saturday 3rd October, 2015 at 10 am is expected to be declared open by Dr. Mrs. Linda Ayade, wife of the Governor of Cross River State.
The Chief Executive of Godilogo Farms Chief Goddy Jedy Agba is expected to deliver the keynote address.

Your Stories will be published and our readers will vote for the most inspiring stories. Our team of judges will also consider entries and score them.
Winners will be determined through a combination of public opinion and scores from our team of judges. Winners will be given awards and exciting prizes.
The theme of this year’s event is “Youth Employment; the panacea for underdevelopment”. The theme of the event is apt at a time like this when youth unemployment has become a major challenge facing the nation. It is our intention thus to use the occasion of the celebration of the nation’s independence to contribute to youth development in the state.
