The Speaker of the Cross River state House of Assembly, Hon. John Gaul Lebo has said that his loyalty to Governor Ayade is total and unshakeably fundamental while his love for his political godfather and immediate past governor of the state, Senator Liyel Imoke is vested.
The Speaker made this remark following comments on a picture he posted on his facebook timeline where a security operative stopped former governor Imoke, momentarily, from accessing the VIP stage during the recent presidential ground breaking ceremony in Calabar.
The Speaker addressed the former governor in the picture as a POLITICAL AVATAR
In response to a comment by one of the readers who challenged the Speaker to shift his loyalty from Imoke to Ayade in view of prevailing circumstances, the Speaker wrote: “Leave politics to politicians..it’s a game, play it while in form…my loyalty to Ayade is total and unshakeably fundamental, my love for Imoke is vested.”
