The member representing Calabar South/Akpabuyo/Bakassi Federal Constituency, Hon. Essien Ayi (PDP) was today caught on camera in deep sleep while President Buhari was presenting the 2016 Budget Proposal to a joint session of the National Assembly.

While his counterpart, Hon. Legor Idagbo representing Obudu/Obanlikwu/Bekwara, who sat beside him, was paying rapt attention to the presentation, Hon. Ayi was obviously unable to keep a grasp on the call of nature.

Ayi, a second term member of the House of Representatives has been severally criticized by a section of his constituents for being inactive in the House since he resumed as a member in the 7th Assembly.
