The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Ben Ayade, yesterday gave a special goodwill message to the people of Akwa Ibom state praying that God will take the State and the people of Akwa Ibom to the promised land.

Text of Governor Ayade’s Goodwill Message:

“The Negro-spiritual ontology of the black man has a complex connectivity with God.

“In the passage of time therefore, the hexokinases and cytokinesis that will structure Akwa Ibom for rapid growth has become certain. Today, the people of Akwa Ibom have decided to lift God, God shall lift you as well.

“God shall be with you, God shall stand by you, God shall take you to the promise land. The people of Akwa Ibom are known for their versatility, their character, their integrity, their energy, their verb, their vitality and enigmatic energy.

“I therefore believe that this opportunity you have offered to God, that you have come before God to serve him in this solemn service, I believe that God will also serve you.

“God is a faithful God, I want you to look up to him. Put your soul above your problems, God will follow you with success.

“For every successful success to be successfully successful, the source of this successful success must be secured in God.

“Thank you all, have a wonderful new year. Thank you Akwa Ibom people, I love you all, thank you.”
