Ayade To Inaugurate 1000 Successful Cross River Green Police Cadets Tomorrow

The Cross River State Governor, Senator Ben Ayade will tomorrow, Thursday May 26, 2016 inaugurate the State Green Police.

A statement issued by the Special Assistant on Media and Chief Press secretary to the Governor, Mr. Christian Ita, said the event will take place at the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar by 10am.

Accordingly, the statement invites members of the National Assembly, Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of Councils, Members of the State House of Assembly, members of the state Executive Council, State Executive members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chairman and members of Traditional Rulers Council and other stakeholders to the event.

Every invitee is expected to be seated by 9.00am.

It will be recalled that recruitment into the state Green Police which has been plagued by inexplicable delays, eventually arrived at a list of one thousand successful applicants who will be inaugurated tomorrow.
