Abuja; Senator Rose Oko who represents the northern senatorial district of Cross River State in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly has lost one of her siblings sources close to the family say.

The sibling, Veronica Ojeka-Eje, CrossRiverWatch gathered, died Wednesday in Abuja after a protracted battle with cancer.

Veronica, CrossRiverWatch also gathered from sources was until her death, a diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja.

She is said to have returned to Nigeria only a few months ago after serving for some time as Deputy Consul in the Nigerian Embassy in Botswana.

CrossRiverWatch also gathered she was married to a Cross Riverian but has been divorced for about 3 decades now with 3 children and 2 grandchildren.

More details will be available as we gather them from the family.
