The representative of Cross River Central district in the red chambers of the national assembly, John Owan-Enoh will meet with the hierarchy of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state on Saturday.
Sources close to Senator Owan-Enoh say contrary to speculations that he is defecting on Saturday, he is rather scheduled for “Massive meetings with the leadership of the APC” in the state, as he plans to dump the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Owan-Enoh is reported to have running battles with Cross River Governor, Senator Ben Ayade with unconfirmed information suggesting he (Ayade) wants to replace him (Owan-Enoh) with one Chris Agara who allegedly attempted to broker peace between Owan-Enoh and Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba.
But, Owan-Enoh told his constituents that he has no problems with Ayade as reported by CrossRiverWatch with impeccable sources confiding in our correspondent that he has mended fences with Ndoma-Egba.
The duo, as projected by political watchers will pose a threat to the PDP in Ikom and Etung local government areas with about four members of the House of Representatives to join Owan-Enoh if he defects.
