A mammoth crowd on Saturday welcomed Cross River Governor, Senator Ben Ayade in his hometown Obudu local government area of northern Cross River State.
This is Mr. Ayade’s third visit to Obudu after being sworn in as Governor in May 2015.
Mr. Ayade who was thrilled with the turnout and the dance steps performed by different tribal and native groups said that as a young man he was always eager to help and now that he has become a Governor, he will surely do more.
He sued for the support of the people as his administration was keen on liberating the state from the shackles of dependence on federal allocations.
