Youth Alive and Hope Organization YAHorg, a youth focused non-governmental organization, is holding a sensitization training about the adverse effect of female genital cutting in Calabar.
The training is part of an ongoing program titled “Youth Involvement in Community-Based Advocacy against Female Genital Cutting”
Speaking at the program which held at the conference hall of Girls’ Power Initiative (GPI) in Calabar, the Programs Director, Youth Alive and Hope Organization, Mr. Nneoyi Ofem said the essence of the training is to equip participants with the required skills for gender based violence advocacy and lobbying.
